These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website, our services, and your participation in Copernicus Olympiad events arranged through Adhyan Concepts. By accessing or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for any Copernicus Olympiad event through Adhyan Concepts, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and any guidelines or policies referenced herein.
3. Eligibility
Participants must meet the eligibility criteria for the relevant competition — including age, educational level, and other requirements specified during registration. Parents or legal guardians must consent for participants under 18.
4. Registration
All participants must register using accurate and complete information. Submission of false information may result in disqualification. Payment of fees must be completed before participation is confirmed.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including logos, designs, and written material, is the intellectual property of Adhyan Concepts and/or the Copernicus Olympiad. You may not reproduce, distribute or use it without prior written consent.
6. Code of Conduct
Participants must behave respectfully toward other participants, supervisors and staff. Inappropriate or disruptive behaviour may result in disqualification or suspension from events.
7. Fees and Refund Policy
All Preliminary Round fees are non-refundable. The Global Round registration includes a $200 USD non-refundable processing fee; the balance is refundable under conditions set out in our Refund Policy. Fees are fully refundable in the event of cancellation by the Copernicus Olympiad.
8. Event Changes and Cancellations
The Copernicus Olympiad reserves the right to modify, postpone or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances. Registered participants will be notified of any changes by email or the official website.
9. Limitation of Liability
Neither Adhyan Concepts nor the Copernicus Olympiad is liable for personal injury, property damage or loss incurred during participation. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.
10. Privacy Policy
Use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, use and protect your personal information.
11. Third-Party Links
Our website may include links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those websites.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to our website and services if you violate these Terms or engage in unlawful activities.
13. Data Retention
Each year in August, the Copernicus Olympiad erases stored student data to accommodate new registrations and to keep the platform performant. Returning students must re-register for the new edition.
14. Media Usage
By participating in the Copernicus Olympiad, you consent to the capture of photographs and videos during the Preliminary and Global Rounds. These may be used for promotional purposes — social media, posters, banners and the official websites.
